Group training
The Original Gym group training consists of small classes of up to six, and we also offer individualised programming and detailed coaching.Â
By using proven programming methods, our group training approach will take you from A to B. We offer real training and instead of just getting a workout. Â
Our training develops athletic ability and improves musculoskeletal health by increasing strength, mobility, and overall ability to move.Â
We aim to build an injury-resistant resilient body by improving both your flexibility and strength at the same time. As well as making you leaner, fitter and more athletic.
The series consists of several sessions, each with a different focus.Â
FOUNDATION: Basic body mechanics, strength and mobility
The majority of sporting and life activity takes place on our feet. Our program builds a foundation for better movement on our feet and therefore helps us become better athletes.
Our first goals are fundamental body awareness, control of the spine and hips while learning to brace and move.Â
From there, we learn fundamental human movements – squatting and bending at the hip, before we can build strength, increase flexibility, and develop true athleticism.
LIFT, JUMP: Olympic Weightlifting
In “Lift, Jump”, the focus is on lower-body strength, power and agility development.Â
In this session, we work on explosive jumping ability and variants of the two Olympic lifts, the snatch and the clean.
