ABOUT US

Facilities

Welcome to Wensum Sports Centre. Our multifunctional sports hall has 5 Badminton courts, which can also be for Basketball, Football and Netball markings, amongst others.

We have two squash courts and an internal squash league and ladder.

A Gym offers cardiovascular equipment, resistance machines, free weights and a functional area.

2 Meetings rooms, for meetings formal and informal, exercise classes and table tennis

Bookings

Our online booking system is for Badminton, Squash, Table Tennis, Conference Room and booking the whole main hall (done by booking all five badminton courts).

For hire on the underhall, please get in touch with reception.

Membership

Sports Membership £10.00 per annum

Gym Membership £15.00 per month or £143 per annum

Membership is not a prerequisite to using the sports facilities – there is an entry fee of 50P per visit for non-members.

Once you are a member, your entry will be inclusive, and you will gain access to our online booking system that allows you to book up to 3 weeks in advance.

Our History

We aim to provide a broad range of activities to help fulfil the needs of our local community.

Our charity is voluntary based and continues to evolve as we seek to expand our community asset.

Having rescued the sports hall from closure in 2010, we are still aiming to improve our tenure with the pursuit of an extended lease from Norfolk County Council.

As individual or group participation, we look forward to seeing old and new friends alike.
